Urinary and erectile issues are often trivialised in our society and people can underestimate their impact on a person's life. Athina looks forward to working with you to understand your urological symptoms and managing them.

Athina is an Australian trained urologist and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Athina's sub-specialty interest is in pelvic floor dysfunction, lower urinary tract symptom management in both men and women as well as pelvic floor ultrasound imaging. She manages all aspects of male and female urinary incontinence (pelvic floor ultrasound, urodynamics, conservative and surgical options).

Athina has worked at a number of tertiary centres around Australia. She has completed fellowships at Concord General Repatriation Hospital in functional urology (including urodynamics and pelvic floor ultrasound) as well as the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St Vincents' Hospital in robotic surgery. Her PhD is in the pelvic floor ultrasound assessment of pelvic floor contractions post radical prostatectomy.

She has received a number of awards and travel scholarships to further her knowledge. Athina is a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand as well as the International Continence Society. She has published widely in international peer reviewed journals, as well as presented both locally and internationally.

She is fluent and consults in both English and Greek.
